We recently moved to a house in the cuts.

'The cuts' is a slang term for 'the middle of fucking no where'.

My nearest neighbor is a mile and a half away, my dog has a full fenced acre to romp around in, and other than my girlfriend, there is no one to sneer at my nearly constant nudity.

Also, I saw an opossum fight with a raccoon whilst sitting on my porch a couple of hours ago. There was no real winner. It wasn't even much of a fight. There was just...

I no longer work as a nurse in the ER. I now work as a hospice nurse.

This basically means that I see way less interesting wounds and people that have nearly killed themselves in very silly ways. Instead I spend all of my time with people that are close to or already dying. Oh, and dead people. I spend a fair amount of time with corpses.

Anyway, I was off yesterday, but one of my co-workers asked me to take one of her patients because she 'Couldn't handle the foot...

I'm picking up the WoW battle chest tomorrow.

So my girlfriend of quite-some-time-now might be pregnant.

I wish I could say I was pressuring her to get an abortion, or, even better, planning on somehow sneaking an Herbal Abortion into her tea, but alas, I'm not so terrified by the idea.

Not exactly planning on painting my art studio disgusting shades of blue or pink just yet, but we're both rather confident in our parenting abilities.

And financially, it shouldn't be too bad as we both make more...

I've been on medical leave from work since the last blog entry.

We had some meth addict pop in after being beaten savagely by some police. After he tried to steal their car.

So, yeah. Junkie is cuffed to the stretcher, both wrists and ankles, so his mobility is a little...Hindered.

We're still not really sure how he did it, but all of the sudden his right wrist is out of the cuff,...

It's two in the morning, and the ER is dead. Not literally of course, but people are coming in like old people fuck.

You know...Uh, not very often.

I'm sitting at the nurses station playing Uno with a few co workers when all of the sudden we hear the distant cry of an ambulance siren. As it gets louder, we all start to tense up. It's almost go time, and we're ready.

Louder. Louder. Then nothing. Then it's distant. Then louder again. Then distant. Five...
