I should be back and posting normally early on in May. x_x; I've got to study for my placement test for AIP and it's arg.

Unlike most people, I'm so terrible at math that even after trying each high school course twice I STILL failed it miserably. Art is probably the only thing that I can fully understand (and that's definitely pushing it). So I've got to spend the rest of this month re-teaching myself about three years' worth of math and hope I place well in the test .. because...

I'm officially enrolled into my college of choice. I just got a call today. Even better, the drawings I submitted were approved and I can start my first semester in the Game Art & Design program. I'm so happy I could puke rainbows.

But now that means I have until October to gather the necessary supplies, try and get loads of scholarships, and draw draw draw so I can get even better by then.

Hunting for scholarships is -SO- fun. Problem is, you have to be a high school student for all the REALLY good ones, which I am no longer one. I don't even qualify for my college's scholarships for that simple fact.

But I'll keep looking. I've tried those really unusual scholarships too, but I don't apply for those either. My dad's company doesn't offer scholarships.

I'm waiting until April 1st, hopefully for more to pop up.

It's stressing me out so...

For the past three hours I've been teaching myself the Thriller dance. Why? I don't know, but it might come in handy if I ever want to scare the bejeezus out of my friends at my own wedding. That is, if I ever get married. Plus, it's great at parties.

They say you can learn it in two, but I'm mentally lacking so it will probably take me six to three thousand. I'm actually up to the first chorus now.

I've been really busy, focusing a lot of time on my art, and ...video games have also been sucking up my time. >_>;

And playing navigator because my mother literally does not know her left from her right when driving.

For some time I've been studying what a good game designer's skill-set would be. I know it requires creativity, a good sense of composition,etc. in art, as well as some math and programming skills. I also remember writing skills - which I know I'm good at. Not GREAT, but I know I'm not bad and that excites me. (If you know what else, do let me know so I can add it to my list of things to study)

I hope anyway. To put it simply, since I was laid off, my family is now losing their car. So we have one really old truck. My mother was laid off as well and we're both on unemployment. The problem is, I don't have enough money for a car and won't be able to get a job at all now because she has to use the truck. I was laid off last week. Irritating economical situation, but I'm trying to make the best of it. Sucks though, because I've no choice but to continue living with my family ( I was planning to move out this summer D8) and I'm helping my mother with virtually everything financially. I had money in the bank, my mother had nine dollars in the bank when she was let go. So now I'M running out of my savings just...

I think I'm sick or something. In the past week I've gotten next to no sleep. I'm afraid to sleep, afraid my dad's going to die or something while I'm not there. I feel more comfortable in my floating, dreamlike world, where I'm sleepy and everything's all fuzzy-like.

Sure, I've been drawing, and playing guitar, and I'm even about to go get my first truck tomorrow, but I just don't feel good. I feel like if I go to sleep I'll be alone, and I don't want that. I feel safe in the company...

To reminisce with people almost twice my age to older music. Being born in 1988, I missed out on a lot of the best music in existence today - what occured between the 60s and 80s. But my parents, being hardcore, used to listen to the classics. The Beatles(who hasn't heard them, though), The Rolling Stones, Whitesnake, Van Halen, etc.
