What on earth is the Twilight series?

This reminds me of a book my mom loved and I hated. "Seeker" I think. Anyway some people love certain books while others hate them.

God damnit people need to realise the Twilight series was not written to be a work of literary genius, it was written to entertain. I'm not saying I like it, but everyone whos anyone that's over 12 splurts out 'THIS BOOK IS SHIT' and doesn't realise in the world of reading, this is Stella Magazine

I'm still waiting for a sensational book about the time-travelling secret-agent dinosaur for hire. It'll make waves.

Leto: but if it's badly written, it's not entertaining. Not that I'm commenting on the writing quality of this particular series; the closest I've come to reading them is reading the Wikipedia entries on each of the books. And I concluded that they were not for me.

Haven't read the book, but from what I've heard Edward is bland, it looks like mushy junk, the vampires are sunlight proof and...Sparkle, Bella is a Mary sue and the 'vampires' are pretty much super human people, bleeeegh.
