Canadian prairie assaulted by extraterrestrial source!

Around 5:30 p.m. MT (7:30 p.m. ET), 22nd of November, a fireball was seen in Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, western Ontario and even North Dakota. It crashed into Alberta-Saskatchewan border, and probably left a few fragments that scientists are searching for even as we speak.

The dashboard camera of an Edmonton, Alberta, police car recorded the whole thing:

"It seemed like fireworks or a missile coming down. The sky lit up greenish and yellow," said Shawn Mitchler, who was pumping gas in Radisson, about 40 miles northwest of Saskatoon. "My heart just started racing because I didn't know what it was."

It was probably about the size of a grapefruit, but I expect that it was perceived to be much larger by those who thought it was further away than it really was.

I think I am not alone in being thankful that these things keep landing in countries without nuclear weapons.

That's pretty damn amazing.

Although I must admit that I thought you were going to provide a story about anal probing. Ass-aulted, indeed.

Cloverfield monster starting in the empty plains of Canada? Sounds un-exciting to me.

God I hate how all my blog posts have to be typed twice because of some stupid bug with minimum length.

Canada doesn't have nuclear weapons?

Also, Cloverfield dwells in the sea.

The Government of Canada does not possess any weapons of mass destruction and has signed treaties repudiating possession of them, once again being a bigger man than the States.

Sure you know by now that I don't do double entendres? My language is as straightforward as I require everyone else's to be.
