It's a person of either unspecified, confused or Nate-can't-be-arsed-to-check gender, the fact their banning is being discussed in EL implies it is not of the third category, yet the tone contradicts that.

The date of this quote isn't stated, meaning he could easily be refering to Sydney, however that, I believe was long before Nate became a member of the mod team.

You may be refering to either Zozo or one of the Great Unwashed, I'll think more on it and get back to you.

I was reading some of the old gays vs religion threads from 2005ish the other day and wanted some of that excitement back in the forums.

Uhhh... I don't think you actually read my comment. I was not talking about this blog and it's silly little competition. I was talking about the probability of entertaining argument on a controvertial issue.
EDIT: Or perhaps you were responding Laser's comment and hadn't read mine at all.

Another thought: now that pretty much all of the forum gays are out of the digital closet, everyone is going to be much too afraid to express an absurdly homophobic opinion. And those are the most fun kind.
