Stupid Politics

Inspired from Bullet Magnet's blog entry with the people praying to the bull statue in New York.

Anyway, my school's mock political rally was held a couple of days ago. One part involved students getting into to pairs to debate about shit in front of the students. The two biggest political buffs in my school were pitted against eachother for the economy. The conservative made this notion how Americans have been living this false life and how we've been spending credit we don't have (which I agreed with) only to say how the government should stop providing so much for it's people and how greed is good in generally everything. It really annoys me how neocons will say America is a country governed by the Bible and that it's a land where a man's success is determined by how much he does and then they'll all be total hypocrites the next minute. Greed, after all, is one of the seven deadly sins and most aristocrats are just old money.

So yeah, just bitching about things that have been bitched about thousands of times before. It's late so I'll probably be looking at this entry tomorrow thinking wtf.
