I <3 Guitar

So I'm learning to play guitar. I've had 3 half hour lessons, learned 2 Beatles songs and a couple chords, and Ive now self-taught myself the James Bond tune. Or at least it sounds like the Bond tune. The notes probably arent exactly correct, and I would need a bass or electric guitar to check for certain, but it's near enough.

So basically, guitars are awesome.

Do it, then you can call yourself a legend. Also my brother tells me 90% of guitar is far far easier than it looks, after half an hour of trying to play Iron Man I was inclined to disagree, but maybe I'm just not very musically ept.

The guitar's a very fun instrument to play. I agree with your brother, WoF. When I was a kid, I used to look at bands like Status Quo and Led Zeppelin and think 'wow'. It's a little disappointing how easy it is, really.

Especially people who think Jimi Hendrix and 90% of guitar solos are 'wow'. most guitar solos are laaaaammmmee and easy once you know what a scale and an arpeggio is.

keep at it. write some things of your own!
