I don't believe I've seen so many logical fallacies in one place since I last opened The Daily Mail.

Religion sure is silly sometimes.

Those aren't the virtues of Satanism according to what I've read.

YOU STILL READ INCORRECTLY.

O RLY?

What has any of this to do with Satan? Just sounds to me like The Unified Church of Atheists.

Not that I'm criticising. Those are some damn good commandments there. Just that none of it is actually religious.

Edit:
Well, the Church of Satan goes deeper than the video, but it covered the basics. We do have a dogma (I.E., a system of principles.) We also do rituals and stuff. Naked women for altars woo.

A LaVeyan satanist, it isn't quite the same.

I'm too fucking tired to do a point by point thing but I cite lots of ad hominums and strawmen there, especially when it mentions other religions 'Spiritual pipe dreams' for instance is a phrase which means jack shit by itself. 'Commandment' 3 also blatantly ignores the widely accepted Judaic/Christian belief that 'God helps those who help themselves', if all Christians did was hope and pray for disasters not to happen then charities like CAFOD wouldn't exist. Number six is interesting as I've never met one of these 'psychic vampires' although from a contemporary viewpoint I guess these are emos, no examples are given and extremely subjective terminology is used. Two more things that really got to me, Sloth is NOT the opposite of ambition, the opposite of ambition is complacency and a complacent person is by no means a lazy one, the point assumes that work gets harder as the occupational tree is climbed which is usually not the case. Also number nine is in no way and by no means any type of commandment, it seems to me that by using it Anton LeVay just wanted to make his brand of philosophical thinking immediately big by attaching it to a well knwon spiritual antagonist.

Corrija:

Well, aren't you a Negative Nancy.

Hahaha. I read the beginning of that from the blog homepage and figured you would just start going off about regulations. You made me happy.
