Why banned them? We will never know what they are thinking about Oddworld.

They seem to be professional lurkers, also mentioned by Alf Shall Rise: you can see them in "Currently active users".

Okay, I've done a bit more investigating. They both have the same IP address, which they share with at least one known spammer. My best guess is that they're spambots that occasionally log in via some sort of automated system and try to see what they can do on vBulletin. Banned members are still able to log in, which is why they appear online, but they get error messages if they try to do anything.
