Clickbait title yay also I had no idea how to name the post because this is literally a thing that just happened.

I was playing GTA Online right now and I heard someone knocking on my door. I thought it was the landlady coming to ask for money or something but it was actually two old ladies from a local church.

They wanted me to sign a petition against gay marriage. In a country that has no gay marriage. They're doing this just to show LGBT supporters here that the majority hates gay people.

They're literally going door to door with this list. And it's disgusting.

	I think it's more a case that FA is new, sarcasm doesn't convey well over text and English is her second language. Give her a break, after all I remember a time long ago when you first came to America and couldn't speak a word of English. Oh how far you've come.

Not understanding what's being said as well is a perfect reason to miss a joke or sarcasm. Especially so over text when you don't get any audible queues or facial expressions.

	Honestly, the bigger problem with this forum has always been the super serious people, stomping their feet, and getting mad. I would happily see these people either get in on the joke, or leave, depriving us of their sustenance giving tears.

	It comes down to whether or not you believe that the cause of this forum dying is the way we interact with each other. I do not believe this, and I prefer to not have to tip toe around people who are looking for a reason to have hurt feelings.

	There's a difference between looking for a reason to have hurt feelings and actually having your feelings hurt but that's beside the point. The cause of the forum dying is that new members never stick around. They get disgusted by the way we behave so they leave. Just like that.

But that's just not true. People who "don't get it" still stick around if they can find things that they want to talk about. There's just not much of interest to talk about. Look at Crashpunk. He has never "gotten it" and has always taken things too seriously. But he's still here. And honestly, show me an example. Fuck that. Show me five examples. If it's such an epidemic, that should be easy peasy.

If you can't see that the joking is good natured, then you are absolutely looking for reasons to have hurt feelings. Which is common among teenagers.
