Drama queen. I hate literally everything. April Ludgate is my spirit animal.

[Edit 13 Oct 2017] I just realized how edgy my blog description is but it's funny so I'll leave it there lmao

Jesus fuck this was the best thing I've ever watched. That fucking Surface Book reveal was unreal and I literally began randomly mashing keys.

This made me so hyped I literally started mashing keys on my keyboard. Wow. Just. Wow. This is how you reveal a fucking product.

You can lead a horse to water but you can’t make it drink.

Similarly, you can show a person a good quality Apple product but you can’t make them admit it’s good.

Apple products are beautiful and probably the best built devices on the market. They're expensive, but not that overpriced. Of course, for us they are, since you live in Poland and I live in Romania, but in the US they're slightly pricier than other devices. Not to mention OSX looks amazing and is my bae.

...I'm turning into an applefag aren't I

Both Microsoft and Apple have magical wizards in their devices that can answer your questions and tell you stories when you ask.

Google has the Google app, an invisible, disembodied ear that uses your conversations to try to sell you things and then answer your questions.

The Google app can't tell stories. What can it do? Link me to a video of siri telling a story. Fuck Google.

With Microsoft you're paying for idiot-proof software and endless software personalisation.

With Apple you are paying for a brand name but most Apple tech and software does a lot of the work for you, I think.

I'm not really in a position to assess the quality of technology these days but you know what Microsoft's advertising has never done? Made me verbally excuse myself from a room to avoid it. Apple has. Apple advertising is like a bone-spur jutting into your sinuses. It's so feeble, so demanding of your acceptance that it full circle feels like some homeless anemic hipster begging for change outside of a Cafe to purchase opiates.

No Manco, I don't picture you thus, I just really hate those ads.

If I was rich or cool enough to afford it I'd just run some custom built tank of a PC with Linux. I'm not, so I make do with the Win10 template that makes everything black and yellow and makes using any HTML icon impossible.

Fuck technology.

OSX sucks. It's counter intuitive as fuck and looks like shit.

Android offers unparalleled customization that makes iOS laughable in comparison. I'd go on but the comment box I freaking the fuck out so.

In my experience. Apple is the most overrated brand. Ever.

Sure. The iPhone revolutionised mobile phones. But honestly. They haven't changed what's important with the newer versions. I swear, iOS gets worse and worse every update. They just give it a little paint job.

I have an iPod Touch. I've had every single version of it due to it breaking all the time. My parents and sister have iPhones. they've had every single version of it due to it breaking all the time.

the latest iOS (And a lot before it) is buggy as fuck. Apps crash, volume gets stuck, the screen doesn't rotate properly. Not to mention the devices battery life is awful, and the bigger screens only make using them even more of a hassle.

Also. Fuck iTunes. seriously fuck iTunes. I haven't updated my music collection because of how stupid that program is.

Once this one has broken, I'm looking into alternatives for sure. All I want is a device which has my music and can play videos and surf the net, without all the bullshit I have to put up with when using Apple.

Fuck it. I might just sell this one now and get something...

Well the only alternative to getting an iPhone for me would be getting the Lumia 950, but Windows Phone has been disappointing me lately, plus I get bored easily and I want to use something different. I've has my 1520 for almost two years which is a lot for me. It's also broken so I need to change it.

I agree that Apple as a brand is overrated, but it has that weird magnetic pull I just can't seem to resist. And the high prices make me want their shit even more.

Oh yes, I tried this once and I regret. In general, having DRM on your music is the worst idea ever.

That's called being manipulated by their complex marketing machine.

I’ve owned two iPhones and dropped both of them several times, and never sustained more than some wear and tear on the corners of my old iPhone 5. I also never use cases or screen protectors.

iTunes doesn’t have DRM any more and hasn’t in a long time, except for the music you get from their streaming service.

Lol @Manco doing this every single fucking time. There are paid marketing reps less enthusiastic than you.

Apple products can be good. Apple products can be bad. People should judge Apple products on their merit and not out of some shitty corporate loyalism (or hatred for that matter). I know too many dumb cunts who admit to knowing fuck all about technology, yet still have no problems shilling for apple. I reckon half of it is that they're trying to convince themselves that dropping a few grand on a Facebook machine was a really smart purchase on their behalf.

To be honest, if I were unpoor enough and in the market for a high end laptop, i'd probably buy a macbook pro. And my first order of business would be uninstalling that horrid operating system.

another thing about Google: i've heard (but not been arsed to investigate to find out if it's true) that Google have the right to keep and bring up all of your search terms and any other information you give them if you are arrested or accused of something that would require such information. in other words if you are accused of something, Google will be all too willing to help condemn you if called up on it.

i use DuckDuckGo too because they don't do all that shit and tend to leave you alone, which is what i want. i don't do anything dogdy, i'm just naturally paranoid and prefer not to give my information away. it's private. and fuck Google.

It's not that they have the right to do it - it's that they have the legal requirement if a judge gives them a court order demanding the data. And that's true of every company.

So he wasn't saying that people who like Apple products only do so because they're trying to justify spending lots of money, and not because they genuinely like the product? Because that was exactly the point he was making.

Well, that and the personal slight against me for being vocal about liking a product, which was totally unnecessary.

i see your point but Google/Microsoft still give away your information to third parties without your consent, because apparantly that's what you sign up for when you use their shit. they say it's to make your experience 'better'. i don't like having private information passed around so i try to stay away from their shit. believe me, they do this. they are watching us. sounds cheesey but they really are. i find it pretty scary.
