My favourite author too. I've been re-reading through several of his earlier novels during the past few months, some of which I hadn't read since my childhood.

I met him at a book signing once and he signed my sisters guitar - I think he said that was the only instrument he had signed up until that point.

An incredible man - I hope his legacy won't be forgotten. RIP.

Just a few days ago I was thinking about how lucky I was that I'd been able to meet a bunch of the artists/creators whose work I enjoyed, but I'd never gotten a chance to meet Pterry. :(

I started an Alzheimer's charity, but people stopped giving when they realized it was going towards research to give more people the disease.
