I'm back...again...ish.

So yup, been through so much stuff, as usual got played a few times, which is alright cuz I gained alot of experience in the end, done with high school and finally went to college to study computer science, and I just got my results last week for my first semester and I passed.

And eh shit's been uneventful, the amount of bullshit happening over here is seriously depressing especially with all the people dying in the protests due to "Terrorism".

but yeah, overall, most stuff's been going good, the band I was in disbanded...which is good cuz we kind of sucked and I went on to join a band formed by the bassist from my old band, and my personal friend, named ourselves "Thunderstruck" (Yes, named after the Ac/Dc song), we play in the range between hard rock and thrash metal.

A couple of the Egyptian metal scene pages on facebook even shared a really shitty video recording of a very iron maiden-y song of ours in the studio: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nqwlWz-1T_Q

I'm sorry to hear things have been rough. I'd recently gotten into a multiplayer game and a clan and one of the most active members were Egyptian. I didn't realize anything was going on there at first but as time went on his situation got worse and worse and he started logging in less and less. It got to the point where he was locked in his apartment and was only on the game with wi-fi that couldn't support gameplay so he was only there to talk to people. About 3 more days of that and he just disappeared. I still dunno if he's dead or just lost his internet provider, I hope it's the latter though.

Probably the latter, I'm one of the lucky few that didn't lose internet in Cairo, it's not as "Open-warfare"-ish as it sounds, so unless he actually went to a protest, chances are he's okay, just lost internet probably, they say there is a problem with one of the massive undersea cables that connect us to the internet, and that 95% of the people subscribed to the ISP I'm subscribed to in the Egypt area lost internet for a few hours yesterday, lucky I haven't for some reason. o.o

Well the song is simplistic, then again most people who have seen it liked it, not all though.

It's really simple, and quite catchy, to be honest. But I can't find any similarities to Iron Maiden whatsoever.

Oh dear lord, the lead guitarist from that video, and my personal friend, showed me that song the first time I visited him, what was weird is that of course it was a complete coincidence, I felt creeped out by it, but he only showed it to me cuz he used to be really into black metal, he still likes it, but like me, he's expanded musically into other forms of rock and metal.

Also, then again, I do like (But still creeped out by) Mein Teil by Rammstein, which is actually about the same crime that inspired "Eaten", The Armin Meiwes case.
