Well, we've been together about two years, lived together for one of them, and we genuinely love each other more now than when we moved in together. That's pretty damn rare.

I thought I'd just say properly over here how happy I am for you. It didn't seem right to gush publicly on Facebook for some reason. When I woke up this morning and saw you guys were now engaged it genuinely made me so fucking happy. You two get to share a real, genuine life changing moment together that you'll never forget...and you did it on an escalator. Marvellous.

Thanks for the happiness, guys. I don't have the words to explain how happy we are together or how much I love her. It really feels like that impossible thing that could never happen to make your life 1000 times better than you ever thought it could be. I could have never hoped to be this happy because I didn't know it was possible to be this happy. When I pulled that ring out of my pocket, she didn't even give me a chance to say words at first. She grabbed me, jumped, locked her legs around my waist, and started kissing me. There is no way I could ever describe what that was like.

I've been crying off and on in spurts all day long, and they are tears of relief and joy. My friend Kevin came into my work, (he was the one person who was there through the entire April situation) and as soon as I saw him I just started balling. It took me like ten minutes to get out what had happened, and ask him to come to the wedding.

Haven't had the chance to tell Abbey yet. I'll be telling her today. Zac is too young to understand, but he had barely turned 1 when I started dating Steph, so he doesn't remember a time when he wasn't my little buddy. Zoey is pretty ecstatic, but she just wants the party, and to wear a pretty dress.
