I hate it when it's been a whole day and almost nobody posted in any thread. I'm glad it's not happening currently

Yeah, one of the things that was bothering me the most for a while was there being so little going on you couldn't really engage in conversation because it would take a day or two before someone replied.

We should have an Oddchat party so that we can collectively haze all of the newbies.

Oddchat parties cannot exist in the same universe as time zones.

Unless we have one like, right now.

I'm pretty sure we could organize them via thread

Someone just pops in and says they'll be in the chat at some time and specify the timezone they're in, and if people want to jump in with them they can.

I'd see it wearing out it's novelty after a week or so though.

We have Steam group chat that basically serves the same purpose, but having your own IRC is so pleasingly clandestine.

I'd jump in on the Steam group dealie but I never have Steam open so I'd end up on it about as often as the IRC.

I'm very frequent on Skype though. Dunno about everyone else.

I'm on skype at all times, as well as steam.

Me, SB and Job talked at length about my bowels and Bogleech. Then we all picked what meat monster we found the most disturbing.
