Lucid dreaming and Oddworld.

Well, I have been practising LD for long time since 14 and two weeks ago tried to bring some Oddworld to my dreams.

So, I tried to use Abe's possess ability on some vampires, which often occur in my dream. The spirit flare flew towards them like it should in Oddworld, but instead of gaining control over the vampire they collided like some energy balls and blew him up.

That was a fail. But I shall try more to get the right effect.


Do you have lucid dreams? Have you ever made some Oddworld things appear there?

I have lots of lucid dreams and oddworld dreams but never both at the same time. I often dream about a new 2D oddworld game or just additional maps for original 2 oddworld games. They're awesome and I have a lot of fun playing it.

I don't really know why I have so many oddworld dreams. I usually don't ever think of the series that much.

My sleep is boring. I either don't dream or simply just don't remember it.

It may be the latter since you always dream?*citation needed

The only dreams I've ever had of Oddworld were nightmares of Fleeches and the Mudomo Vaults as a kid, first playing Oddworld. After reading that Fleeches got flushed I used to have recurring dreams about them coming out of the house piping and eating me.

I get a lot of really fun nightmares, being chased by monsters, zombies, aliens and what-have-you. Other than that most of my dreams are so boring that being lucid in them would barely spice them up.

I wish I could lucid dream. Every one of my dreams that I get to remember are nightmares. Usually with someone I care about dying. An Oddworld nightmare could be cool though.

The most common motif in my dreams right now is my mother telling me that I don't play my accordion enough.

I believe this represents 1) That I don't like being nagged by my mother and 2) That I don't play my accordion enough.

I don't lucid dream, but I do self-hypnotise, which can lead to some freaky stuff. I think it's like being on drugs, except that I don't wake up in prison with psychiatric issues later.
