Anyways... there was a person that I had a pretty big crush on for a little over half a year now, and I was ultra subtle about it for a really long time (no really, no one had any fucking idea I was even interested in someone. caught ALL the bitches off guard), but then one day while I was talking to them they got obscenely clingy and affectionate out of no where and I was really confused but I couldn't complain and then they turned out to be one of the most amazing and accepting people I've ever met and we definitely hooked up and I love the shit out of them and I feel really weird saying that because I was pretty convinced I was going to go my whole life not giving a single fuck about another person to the extent I give a fuck about this one person.

They're really great and an absolute fucking cutie. Be proud of us.

	MA, while I agree with you and all, I don't think the age of consent is a really reliable way to decide whether or not someone's a child or young adult. It varies from place to place, and in some places it's as low as 13, or even lower. Quick, someone wipe MA's memory before he does something rash

I don't think anybody here will argue that it's a good idea for a 14 year old and a 20~ year old to date and that we should be proud of Nep and SB for boldly challenging the archaic taboos of our society.

But it happened

I would disapprove of them going into the relationship, but since they've both come to their own terms and formed their own boundaries, I don't feel it necessary to disapprove of the relationship as it stands.

	I wasn't really arguing that. I was just saying that age of consent doesn't really dictate what's considered a young adult since it varies from place to place. The term 'young adult' is really ambiguous.

E: I kept going AFK to multi task while typing this post and now my point is void - I basically said what people discussed about the definition of "adult" and "child" being situational and different for individuals, so never mind.

I will say that I was in some short-lived online LDRs in my teens. While they weren't what I would call "real" by any means (and don't compare to the face-to-face relationships I had later), it was still nice knowing there was someone out there who claimed to love me who I could talk to, and that made me feel a lot better about everything while they lasted. So good luck to Slog Bait and Nepsotic if it works for them and makes them happy.

	This place really is a good mirror of society. Two people proudly announce their love for each other and everyone is instantly falling over each other to tell them why it's a bad idea. And for the love of god stop talking about children and adults. A 15 year old is not a child and a 19 year old is hardly an adult. A 4 year age difference really isn't THIS big of a deal...

	What happened to the 'your age, divided by 2, +7' argument? I can only get with girls of 16 by that logic, and even that, I don't really want to do. I'm attracted to people older than myself for the most part though. The girl I'm going to move out with (fingers crossed) is 22, for instance. Oddjob can only get with 48 year olds.
