Ess Tee Em the Working Man

'Ello all,
So, as the title of this blog might have hinted, I'm now working. After a brief period of searching, I drew upon my extensive bank of contacts, favours and street cred to land a job in a warehouse, putting things on shelves, taking things off shelves and putting things in boxes of various shapes and sizes. Any way, it's five days a week, 8 AM till 4.30 PM and at the moment I'm on £7 an hour which really isn't too bad for anyone, let alone for someone who doesn't even have their A levels and prior work experience.
The downside is that it's a very repetitive, monotonous job and I have to cycle to work at the moment which normally wouldn't be too bad but right now England is in the middle of a heat wave and cycling home for 45 minutes in temperatures of 35c is rather tough, especially when I'm so unfit.
That's another thing though, cycling to work, constantly being on my feet all day, eating healthier and casual heavy-ish lifting is doing wonders to my body. I've started to bulk up a wee bit without putting any real weight on...now if I could just keep up my drinking without getting bloated.
In other news, have been getting repeatedly drunk on weekends, got with a girl within 15 minutes of meeting her for the first time, is pondering the idea of getting a moped to get to work quicker and got hissed at by a canal-child I have now realised must have been raised by wild swans. My first proper novel shall now be called Swan Boy.
