I'm back!

I've been seeing that educational psychologist again, and she put me on the waiting list for a programme called CAMS, I don't know exactly what it entails, but I guess it means that I'm fucked. But you know what? I don't care, because my laptop is fixed! You know what that means.


This is still private because I wrote it for my brother to rap over.
This time I'm actually putting loads of effort into mixing and mastering, I know it isn't perfect, but I should get better at it.

NOW EVERYTHING IS GREAT!
I mean, a few things are pretty awful still but right now I don't give a fuck because I can pump out my filthy bass again!

I always feel like you have the skills and the tools to do more than just dubstep, so sometimes it's a little disappointing to hear something which is just a few sounds on repeat. At first I was expecting something Brian Eno-esque but hey ho, at least you're back doing something you enjoy and that's what's important.

Welcome back any way, I'm glad you got into a programme because obviously it's gonna help you out.

But it's not a good sign. I mean, I've been referred for a reason.
Part of the reason it's so repetitive is because it's supposed to be a backing beat.

Here's the thing about teenagers and emotional problems: They think they are a bigger deal than they are, and then start telling everyone they have it, and living in a self fulfilling prophecy. Everyone has issues. Do the therapy. Get it treated, and don't let it define you.

I generally dislike dubstep, so really, I couldn't offer you advice on how this sounds.

But you know what? Good for you anyway. Making stuff isn't always about the feedback you get, sometimes its just about how it feels.

In regards to the laptop fixing and music: Awesome! Can't wait to hear more polished versions of the soundscapes you want to do for the game.

I'd give input on what you posted in the blog but my headphones broke the other day so I don't have very good sound quality right now and therefore probably won't even be able to hear half the shit you put into it.

No, the wire inside the right headphone got pulled out. Can't fix it without potentially damaging the speaker and ripping apart the plastic it would just be easier to buy a new pair.

Every other pair I have either has static or one of the sides is out completely, and most of them aren't hifi. Then, you have my shitty laptop speakers, which I can't hear many of the lower tones with.
