...and periods.
So the other day I went around to a friend's house whom I haven't seen for a couple of years, I was there for three hours.
The only thing she spoke about was chocolate, periods and the Kama Sutra, oh, and how her mother has stolen her boyfriend's Chocolate Orange lube. Thanks babe but I don't give a shit.
During my visit one of her Uni friends came round uninvited and they chatted about periods, chocolate and lube (of course) completely ignoring me. Inevitably the conversation turned to their sexual experiences and then suddenly I was the topic. For the next hour or so they made fun of me, belittling my sexuality and making casual passive aggressive remarks about how I'm 'a waste of a woman' because I'm asexual and how I should 'get the stick out of my arse and fuck someone.'
After the Uni friend left, my friend swore it was just a joke and I should stop being so uptight. I responded with 'jokes are supposed to be funny' and walked out of her house.
It was almost definitely the wrong reaction but I just felt so put out I had to remove myself from the situation.
I'm not sure what to do now, whether to accept it as an hour of bad decisions on her part or to just cut ties with her altogether. I'm still pretty angry about it.
Chocolate is good though.
edit: lol another sexuality blog, sorry about that.
