Because obviously everyone keeps getting distracted by your charm long enough to forget how COLD HEARTED AND CRUEL you can be and then you strike them down where they stand before they even knew what hit them.

And then they feel they must warn the others before it's too late. But that there is the exact problem: It is always too late.
