So what's been up OWF?

Did everyone have a great christmas? Mine was nice... Get together with the Romanians was fun

So... like maybe 3 days ago I fell all the way down the stairs from the upper floor.... Miraculously I got off with just a black bruise at the size of my fist... on my thigh...
:-/ It was scary... at the same time non-surprising... I remember thinking as I fell down, I was a little baffled that I wasn't stopping and then I thought: You just had to screw this up too.
I punched a hole in the wall with my knee... Luckily that hole didnt belong to my body. I think it's the first time in very very long time I heard my dad be actually concerned with me... Usually he's either indifferent or irritable.

I felt really silly ... As I landed and noticed that nothing was broken or out of order I started laughing insanely ... ._.

So... Have any of you ever fallen down stairs?

Also.... Theres some guy that I think is flirting with me... How do you figure out if they actually are, and aren't just overly affectionate and 'physical' by nature? I'd hate to disappoint him.. and I don't wanna be awkward and say something like: Im not sure you should keep pursuing me...

Cos if it was nothing, then it just make me seem like an asshole... I dunno. Plus im terrible at telling when someone is really flirting with me... It got me in serious trouble once as some might know.

Anyway I should be more available after new year

	I've fallen down a flight of stairs, then slid down the ice covered driveway on my ass and stopped in the middle of the street. all I really remember was seeing my grandmas dog standing at the top of the stairs (from multiple angles) as I tumbled down them.

	I've never fallen any stairs, so I can't help you with that, but my advice for this guys is to act as neutral as possible in moments when you think he's trying to flirt with you. He should see it by himself. Just don't play this game with him and should be relatively fine

I was once pushed down a flight of stairs at school. Well... I was pushed as a joke by one of my friends, but his poor aim unintentionally led me to the stairs, which I then fell down. I can remember tipping from side to side and being mildly amused by the sensation. Then the next thing I saw was his very worried face apologising, at which point I burst out laughing.

One of my arse cheeks was quite heavily bruised, which was particularly bad because exams were the following week.

How do you figure out if they actually are, and aren't just overly affectionate and 'physical' by nature?

Buggered if I know. There was a cute, gay waiter serving us for lunch today and wasn't sure if he was smiling at me out of interest, friendliness, or good customer service. And I was way too much of a pussy to give him my phone number.

Yea i was a bit amused by the sensation as well... It was many feelings at once.

Also next time just give him the number! Even if it was just customer service it wouldn't hurt to try... All that can happen is that he gets flattered by your approach.. Or you getting amused by his reaction (if it's a bad one)

I was a dick once and put this massive (almost whole body covering) shirt on, then tucked my arms inside it, then stood at the top of the stairs. Guess what happened next. Ever since then I've had some sort of fear of falling down stairs.

I'm glad you were okay when you fell, it's always best to laugh it off because it is a pretty hilarious thing to think about, especially if you keep landing on your arse on each step.

	Damn stairs, they just come out of nowhere! I remember falling down some stairs a while ago. I sort of front flipped down them over and over again. When I got to the bottom I started crying. Oh yeah, I was 2.

I fell down the stairs when I was wee, broke my collar bone and nearly kicked the bucket there and then. I distinctly remember looking at the banisters as I went down, it didn't hurt, probably because of the adrenaline, I just wondered why I couldn't grab them and stop myself.

On that other front, he might just be a little affectionate, is hard to tell but there's no reason to actually say anything unless he comes out with some sort of proposal, and then you just have to shut him down if you don't like him. Doesn't have to be awkward. =)

But he invited me to his new years party... Since I left my dad's early because of stuff I had to do(my dad is in another city), I said yes... I have nothing else planned.

But thinking it over... He is meeting up with a little group of tightly bonded friends. And me and this friend were never that extremely close. We hadn't talked for 2 years or so. Then he messaged me about 2 months ago saying I've been missed and wondered what happened to me.

Another clue is that he asked me if I will meet up with him a little earlier tomorrow. Then I said: Sure, it's nopt as if I have anything else planned, and I can't find the place on my own.

And his response is a sequence of happy emoticons and a huggy bear and the smiley that has rotating hearts(in skype)

Ok I may just be overly paranoid. But... I just don't wanna make the same mistake twice. Even if I did like him I wouldn't be able to have anything to d with him.

If someone sent that to me as a message I'd probably go ape shit, especially as I like to take precaution with my replies and think about them carefully. It's like when I make a relatively long reply that I've been typing for ages, and the reply to it is simply 'lol'. What the fuck am I meant to do with that? What the fuck am I supposed to say? Fuck you! Piece of fucking shit! I won't evem bother fucking talking to you then, twat.

BUT. This is not fine. If I put, something even relatively short like this:
"Meh, I like how they all have their flaws, it makes them seem more realistic. And all of them have some sort of mental disorder XD" (You won't understand, it isn't in context)
I DO NOT expect this as a reply:
"lol"
(I didn't actually get that as a reply, I got something much longer and insightful).
