I'm currently watching a sci-fi series where humanity went completely tits up after the advent of psychic powers, so when scientists picked up the pieces five hundred years later they decide to genetically engineer and socially condition humans out of aggression as one psychic could lay waste to an entire community and three generations worth of good work.

One of the ways they do this is to make human society more like bonobo society, so everyone fucks out their aggression. Everyone is very touchy feely.

I don't understand this with seahorse, if the woman has the nob and the guy has the vagina clearly the woman is the man and vice versa. How can they tell it's gender if it's so messed up?
