Right, instead of posting loads of stuff about Adventure Time on "I have just seen" thread I'm gonna start posting on here. I like Adventure Time too much so if I post loads on the thread it's most likely to be banned off the forums completely.

Hitler loved cartoons. Maybe your dad is trying to avoid being like Hitler. I think you need to sit him down, and calmly tell him the war is over and let him cry it out, man.

Strangely enough, I heard about this show for the first time about two hours before I saw this blog. I then watched some clips on YouTube and decided it was stupid.

(a) You can't just watch clips out of context. People are always going to choose the randomest moments to upload to Youtube.
(b) It's wierd and silly. If that's your sense of humour, you'll enjoy it. Otherwise don't bother.

I think you have to be a certain age to appreciate Adventure Time, despite it's childishness. I've yet to meet someone under the age of 18 who enjoys the show, or "gets" it.

How many people do you know under 18. I'd be worried if you knew too many of the kids its likely targeted at.

Nevertheless, I did get a lot of innuendo from the clips I watched. For instance the boom boom baby thingy.

IMO Adventure Time is one of the best things to hit Cartoon Network in a long time (ignoring stuff like flapjack and chowder which are also good).

I'm willing to bet you missed some of the jokes. Like the queef jokes in "Web Weirdos". If you didn't miss 'em, then good on ya.
