I prefer Lamb of God and Throwdown to Amon Amarth. Throwdown has some really great power riffs too. Oh and Godsmack is good, not as heavy though.

That's an amazing piece. My music studies teacher played it to us and freaked the whole class out. I have a recording of it, but I haven't listened to it. I don't really want to put myself through 7 minutes of creepy strings again.

You're right, it is a fantastic piece, and I would highly recommend anything of Penderecki's. There's a CD, Orchestral Works Vol. 1, conducted by Antoni Wit, with some of his best stuff on (De Natura Senoris or however the fuck that's spelt, Fluorescences, Threnody and Symphony No. 3). Definitely worth a look.

Mr Bungle, you should try him too. He recently collaborated with somebody from Radiohead.
