Christmas Begins Today!

I always say that Christmas begins the first day I see an advert for it.

Today it was a trailer for a Christmas-related film that I saw in the cinema and didn't absorb the name of.

Also, I saw Brave! It's exactly my kind of film; I loved it!

<3 fairy tales.

So anyway, Merry Christmas, all. (Sorry it's late - last year Christmas started in May.)

	Even if Christmas is just December, that's a twelfth of the year. Put like that it still seems two much for a three day event. Some people treat it as a third.

	It seems every year Christmas start earlier. I really hate when they put on Christmas specials of TV shows on any time of the year, It's really irritating.

Borth Jesu H! I was disgusted the time I saw Christmas trees in Macy's in the first week of September and this is just that much worse. How on earth could it have stretched this far back? The weather is still in the 20s in your country - snowy scenes are just ridiculous!

	I expect the reason is along the lines of "fuck it, this summer's been a bust. Let's cut our losses and look forward to Christmas already." It's difficult for the weather to ruin Christmas in the UK.

	Usually we get the snow two months late, and have rain for the rest of the year. Except May and June, sometimes we get a week of blistering hot sun. We're used to our weather routine.

	The last few years we had very little rain, and this year rain was on standing order. I recall that in the nineties we were told that the future of Britain would be droughts and flooding. How we laughed.
