ENTERING THE MUSHROOM KINGDOM

So yeah, in the next few days I'm more than likely gonna have the chance to do some 'magic mushrooms" with my friend. We have been planning on this for quite some time, I've done research and talked to many people who have done it, and I think I'm ready.

I just wanted to ask if anyone here ever tried shrooms, and if you have, what do you think of it? How was your trip? How large of a dosage should I take? Any tips on avoiding a "bad trip"?

I'm not sure how many of you will be able to answer those questions, but there's quite the variety of characters in this internet circus of hipsters, zoophiles and elitists, so I'm sure at least a couple of you will be able to help me out.

EDIT: Please no "Drugs are bad, don't do them, you'll ruin your life, etc", in this blog. They're fucking mushrooms, I doubt they'll start a spiral down a path chock full of heroin and junkies.

	I'll most likely be doing them in my friend's room, because It's a place I'm familiar with and there won't be any fucking bugs or anything like that. Don't think I'll be able to deal with that shit. He does, however, have 7 cats and a dog. So there's that.

	Don't brew lots in a small pan unless you want to spend nearly an entire day tripping and feel weird the entire of the next day. Glad I didn't do that. Some people I was with did during a summer solstice festival once, it was funny to watch.

	I'm not brewing anything, I have a friend who can get me some good ones (so he says) and we'll juste eat them. Hopefully the trip will only last about 4-6 hours that way.

I've done them several times in the last year or so. You won't need a lot for yourself the first time round, so I'd recommend 2 grams. You could try up to 4 if you want, but to make sure the experience isn't shitty and dumb I'd say keep it below 3 so you don't risk nausea.
Chew them a long time. As long as they feel not-revolting in your mouth, and then some time after. THEN swallow them. Time it for up to 5 minutes if you want to be sure. You get a big bonus the longer the orifices in your mouth get to absorb whatever in shrooms.
Have fun! Be with people who might not mind moving around or being high outside. I ended up feeling really claustrophobic and my dick friends wouldn't go outside so plan your compatriots with precision.

	Pretty sure it'll just be the two of us doing them, so if we buy 2g, should we just split it gram for gram? I really don't wanna risk taking too much for my first time. Also, since you live in Ontario, what are the average prices for 2g of shrooms around here? I've heard you can get 'em for real cheap, or real pricey.

	I'm looking forward to it. The only real hallucinatory/downright trippy experience I had was when I nearly OD'd on allergy pills (diphenhydramine). That was terrifying.

	I still find it funny to think they're actually real mushrooms. I sometimes imagine the term "mushroom" just being a nickname for something else. It's always interesting to see people talking of doing drugs though, continue.

	Shrooms are great. Much more mellow than lsd, but still gives you trails, patterns, and the occasional hallucination. Have fun. Oh, and don't do them inside. Be outside. At night, preferably.

	Just take the shrooms. Don't complicate the experience. At least not on your first time.
