I didn't read the blog, but it was worth opening this just for that comment.

This sentence sounds very weird out of context.

You should find something else to spend your time doing. Don't completely detach from MLP if you don't want to, but maybe take a look at getting into a book series or something. A month ago I'm fairly sure I hadn't seen a single pony post on your part, and it sounds like you're kinda drowning yourself in it. I know the feeling. But just try curbing the quanitity of pony you spend your time contemplating tomorrow and walk to the nearest body of water or something. I'm not being critical.

As for keeping myself occupied, I'm going to BBC studios today for a Doctor Who convention, so thats exciting.

You want something that makes you happy and it's no surprise that a bright, colourful tv show aimed at little girls does a very good job of that. There's also an entire community of people on the internet with a similar interest, adding a huge appeal to. Get out and find a hobby. Find something to grab your interest that aren't ponies, like Mac said.

On a related note, I'd say stop browsing MLP completely, cold turkey, at least until the next series comes out. My brother is a self admitted brony, and I'm guessing he's probably about your age, the thing is, he knows what that means and doesn't mind people taking the piss or having a laugh, because he knows he's watching a cartoon for little girls.

Yeah. Generally it's best to keep moving on to different things. Take me for example, I moved onto Fallout 3 and AC:Brotherhood and found myself in a new community of gamers and I had stories to share. Then I went onto Mass Effect 2/3 and found an even more diverse fanbase and enjoyed chatting about the different decisions you can make etc.

Now, my next step is to check out a few more MMOs and things while I wait for other great games to come out.
