I've just handed in my CV to Pizza Hut. Yes that's right, Pizza Hut. And it's not the mini pizza huts that you get take-a-ways from, No this is a big restaurant!

Anyway, My mate works there and he said that they are seriously short staffed so I offered to try and get a job there. My other mate also thought this was a good idea so he also went.

This is so good for me because I've been wanting a job for ages now. I've almost finished college and I really need to start saving up.

The interview is in 2 weeks time and I'm so fucking scared. I'll keep ya all updated and hopefully, I'll be working very soon (Finally!)

(also my CV is hilariously bad which worries me)

Yeah I thought that was odd too. Seeing how they are also apparently really short staffed.

Apparently they are mismanaged as well as under staffed. No store manager is so busy that they can't do an interview for two weeks.

i worked on a burger van in Wolverhampton, once. my shift was from around 5 in the afternoon to about 4 in the morning, so we could catch all the pissheads outside the clubs. i soon discovered i fucking hate dealing with pissed up customers. never again. fucking cunts.

It's surprisingly bad in the service sector the last few years. I applied for no less than a dozen shlub jobs that are normally reserved for ex-convicts and illegal immigrants, and I still had to jump through some insane hoops just to qualify. I don't know if it's the recession or what, but they are making it fucking impossible to get a job these days.

I took a 100-page Myers Briggs test and a timed college-level math quiz just to qualify for stocking shelves at a fucking crafts store.

I hear that. I've been trying for months to get a job but the market is just so damn bad. Doesn't help that all the college kids are coming back and taking back their former positions at the wal-marts and other department stores.

Dammit, I want a job so bad. I'm trying, but no one will hire me.
