Hello folks,
A relatively brief blog just to link you to...my new blog: http://fieldstrollerwriting.blogspot.co.uk/

the link above will take you to what I hope, becomes the hub for any business I drum up for freelance writing. I suppose while I'm here, I might add that if anyone needs writing done here, or contract work if you own a proffessional blog or corporate website, I am indeed in dire need of work.

I have experience in a huge spectrum of writing, from speeches to creative writing, from persuasive journalism to 7000 word undergraduate university essays.

If you don't need any work done (and I'm sure most of you don't,) but you know someone who does, I would be eternally grateful if you could put a good word in for me.

I'm in a bit of a financial pickle you see, and this is pretty much the only skill I have that I can pursue monetarily, unless you count labouring...

P.S. My grammar is far, far better than in this blog normally. XD

Oh and by the way, if you don't want to advertise (I don't blame you...I probably wouldn't bother), supposedly if people click that little G+1 button at the bottom, it brings me up on google search results? I'm not sure how true that is but if it helps it helps.

I know, but one has to inflate ones appearance to rise up above everyone else. =/ it's not something I like doing, I prefer to be quiet and modest, but when cash is involved...I suppose there's little one won't do.

Get a real job.
No one is accepting 17 year olds with no references, no proof of previous work, and no A levels as of yet. Unless I want to commute into London on a weekend, in which case the salary doesn't cover the journeying.

And NP, I read about it through a BBC article a long time ago and saved the link. I'd be doing that myself too but I don't think any of my skills are conventional enough.

I set up this blog really to promote myself as I now intend to start writing to make some cash.
Something really bugs me about this line. It just seems too much of a 'I'm just doing this to make money' attitude and people might get the wrong impression. If you want to mention money to them, just point them to a little part about costs but don't explicitly say 'I'm doing this for cash' on the front page because it sounds too lazy. If someone disagrees with this fine, it's just my opinion.

Sure, they generally love being able to perform their talent for a living, but they don't always get to love the actual work.

The point I was making was, if you're so out there about I just want to make money, what are people's opinions going to be on the outcome? Most would assume you're just in it for the money and would not care about the quality of such writings. Showing you actually care about the quality of the writing your customer is paying for it much better than that of I just want your money.

That's what a portfolio is for, they know the calibre of my writing because they can see it, then it doesn't matter what they think about me personally. People who want writing done want to profit from it just as much as me, there is a mutual interest in the success of my ability to produce text.
