It's flipping hot out there

Posted 05-26-2012 at 02:41 AM by AlexFili
Seriously, hot hot hot hot hot.
Reminds me of my trip to California last summer. Ah, memories.

Just off to the Lake District in a while for a university study trip. Taking videocameras, laptops etc. It's going to be a three day blogathon

I recommend several things:
Angry Video Game Nerd clips on Youtube
Rise of the Planet of the Apes
Lego Rock Band
The Dark Tower Vol 5

That is all. Peace!

What part of the Lakes are you going to? I love it up there. Best place in the world to relax.

It's not actually that hot, it only feels hot 'cause it's so damned humid due to the ground still being wet from all the rain.

Least it's shady here in the woods though.

Always hottest in the South East, it's 24 degrees right now, but it was 27-29 the other day. Enjoy it while it lasts though guys, it's gonna rain on Tuesday and Wednesday.

It's so nice here in Nottingham. It's hot but it has a nice cool breeze every now or then. ^_^

Best weather in my opinion.

Temps went up to 30 around here last week, right now it's holding at 25-26, which is a lot better.

I always laugh reading this. A nice summer day here is around 32. Once you hit 35+ it becomes uncomfortable and anything over 40 is hell. I don't have air-conditioning, so when you have a week of days all over 40 you really start to suffer.

That said, it was 12 the other day and I was freezing my arse off.

It's hot here probably because I live very near to the coast (near Bournemouth area, beach is about 10 minute drive away from me).

I experienced the summer of 2006 while in western Germany. It reached 40 C. After that, any subsequent summer I've experienced in the UK has seemed quite cool to me in comparison. Yeah it's still hotter than the max temp of 10 C we had about 3 weeks ago for a month, and we're not used to it, but even so.

In Bath it's been pretty hot. I don't have any numbers, but I'm not well adapted to any significant deviation from room temperature. Considering I've been trying to revise,it hasn't been much fun.

I love the Lakes. I tend to do a lot of walking, although the last two times I've been involved lots of revision for impending exams.

That's how it was on Ontario about a week ago. Hot as fuck, no clouds at all, just the sun beating down on us Canadians. And I had to walk through town, like, three times in that weather. It was enjoyable, for a bit. Then it just got irritating.
