Let's Play The Legend of Zelda

Only memory of Zelda I had was some Gameboy Colour game my brother owned years ago. It kind of got forgotten in a pocket and was put into a washing machine... Yeah, I don't think it worked after that.

I never really got into it anyway to be honest, I dislike most games like it although I did own Pokémon Blue, I played the hell out of that game. I need to find it again. Not mentioning HeartGold though, I think 203 hours beats how much I played Blue by a bit.

I have tried the NES Zelda but I didn't like that either, I guess I just dislike the Zelda games in general. I liked the LP though.

I played Zelda again maybe six years ago. Had a lot of fun doing it. However, and I've said this before, I don't watch other people play games. I play them myself.

Fair enough.

I've also noticed that I've lost subscribers just because I'm doing Zelda and not Oddworld. A guy needs a break!

I'm still subbed although it never notifies me of your new uploads for some reason.

Not to sound like a subscribers whore but, why not!

To be honest I always think views are more relevant than subscribers. People often sub because they saw a video they liked and hope for similar content. For instance I've had over 1000 people subscribe to my channel because I made a music video about The Lion King. That video alone has received 14,2 million views, while the rest of my vids have trouble getting over a few thousand. So just because I have a reasonable audience, most don't care one bit about stuff not to do with what they originally subbed for.

I'm kind of the same with your and Dark's channel. I really don't care about the old Zelda games (Ocarina of Time would be more interesting) and I always skip Dark's WoW video's .

Don't get discouraged because not all your current fans are enthusiastic about your other content though, that's just par for the course. You'll attract new ones who like your new content .

I never really liked 2D Zelda game all that much, I prefer the 3D ones. LTTP can be fun and definitely is a classic, but it doesn't touch Ocarina, Majora's or Wind Waker in my mind.

I tried playing this once on my Gamecube collection disc and it was just too... old school. I'm bad at NES games.

Yeah the problem is that pretty much everyone who subscribed to me subscribed for CRAZY Oddworld. And I'm never going back to that. It was funny and it had a good run but I've wanted to do LPs from the very start but didn't have the confidence to do so. (Blame ScottishDuck17 for making me want to do LPs. That guy is awesome )

Another problem is that there are SO many LPers out there, it's really hard to get noticed. I just plan to do my favorite games, maybe do some more obscure ones to be a bit original.

Oh and I still like to make Oddworld videos, I've been wanted to do a few parody videos for a while now.

And I too prefer the 3D Zelda games, Ocarina, MM, and Twilight Princess are amazing games. (Never played Wind Waker :<)
But the reason why I'm doing Zelda 1 because I love the game and I also completed it not too long ago as well.

If you're doing LPs don't be afraid to cut stuff out. The Yogscast often do a fairly good job of cutting needlessly long, boring bits of footage from their videos.

The best LPs I've seen are by pokecapn because it's a bunch of guys playing shit games and cracking jokes.
