The last few posts led me to googling whether it was possible to cook a giant cookie in a frypan on the stove, as I don't own an oven.

Sadly, it looks like the answer is 'no'.

You can bake big cookies in the oven if you use cooking paper and a flat metal tray of some descript.

I know it's not possible in a frying pan, I was talking about the size of it....

I think I fell for Nate's trap there... I don't know.

You may be surprised, but very little of what I post is meant as a trap. Perhaps you should question why you keep falling in to non-existent traps...


I knew you didn't mean baking it in the frypan, but I was just using my imagination. As it happens, there's a fair few people who recommend using a frypan (metal handled, obviously) as the baking dish (in the oven) for a big cookie.
