I read this and came to the fairly logical conclusion that he either meant panic attack, or that he had a panic attack and innocently stretched it to heart attack.

It's not like panic attacks aren't horrible, so I hope he's okay, but I seriously don't believe he had a heart attack.

Funnily enough, my first thought was "panic attack".

And I didn't say anything the first time he did this. I recognized it for what it was the first time, but stayed out of it. Consider it to be like the boy who cried wolf. Except that the boy's version of the story is that the wolf jumped down on him from the top of a tree, and tore his arm off, but he fought it back, and then stitched his arm back on.

You don't need to hear the story multiple times to stop believing in that scenario.

I'm with OANST and WoF on this one. No one just goes from having a heart attack at school to going home and blogging about it. I'm sure it was something, but not a heart attack.

Guys I would pipe down. Keep these thoughts to yourselves because a friend of mine has some sort of condition. He was walking down the street one day and, out of nowhere his heart failed.
Same thing with my little brother. He was climbing a tree and stretched a ligament in his heart and had to go to hospital. These things CAN happen and if you don't know the situation, don't be making shit-stirring accusations.
So I wish you a speedy recovery, Scraby. Get better soon.

Nobody's doubting that he could have had a heart attack.

It's very possible though, so why go doubting he actually did have one?

Did either your friend or your brother get out of hospital on the same day that they arrived?

Well, not my friend, but my brother did. It wasn't serious. But then again, Scraby didn't say his incident was. And as unlikely as it all seems, we should really keep these opinions to ourselves.

He said it was a heart attack. Heart attacks are, by definition, serious. If it wasn't serious, it wasn't a heart attack.

Even if, by some impossible magic, he had a non-serious heart attack like you're suggesting, that tells us that we shouldn't be concerned. If it wasn't serious, we have no need to worry and OANST is right to tell people to calm down.


I do, however, agree with you that everyone should take a chill pill until he returns and clarifies the situation.
