Just yesterday, me and the wife went to see Snake Davis perform live in Holmfirth. Fantastic saxophonist. Just amazing to see live. His bass player is just about the best their is. Some very difficult bass parts in those songs, and his improvisational skills are excellent. Same goes for the keyboard player. His improvisations really stood out. So did Snake's. I can't really say anything bad about the drummer, as I never properly learnt the drums, so to me he just sounded like any other drummer.

I guess my point is that it was a fantastic night.

There's a difference between accidentally using a grammar mistake and deliberately using colloquialisms.
