I have learned of a disturbing fact this eve.

My dad is getting married to a woman who he has been on/off with in the past. However, he has changed (he literally fucking has, he cleaned my room top to bottom.)

Now... my dad is 54, said woman is 49, too old to get married is my considered argument. However, the woman has a child... who I absolutely fucking despise (Ridg3 can back me up on this... he threw him into a shop, I believe). If you believe, for a second, I would share my room with anyone, I'd rather share it with a corpse than that pre-pubescent cunt.

As soon as they marry, and move in, I'm moving out to my friend's house. She has no internet which means, I may as well leave OWF at that time.

I believe my dad knows I know. He announced it on Facebook; most of the fucking estate has known for weeks but alas, I haven't been informed since...well, you know... I'd be a cunt about it.

I haven't spoken to my dad about it but... the only irk I have is sharing my room. Especially since I'm sharing it with a 'OMG LAD I'M SO COOL I DRANK HALF A BEER' waste of genetic potential.

If this proceeds, I'm moving out. In which case, I'm leaving OWF.

these things happen. it's a shame you may end up leaving for a while, but, you know, these things happen. i try to treat life as an adventure, and for me this would be another turn in the road. if you don't mind, enjoy it while it's there, if you do mind, put your head down and get on with it. nothing lasts forever. also, it's your dad. i know if my dad was still alive and he wanted to marry someone, as much as i dislike him, i wouldn't try to stop it or make things difficult. it's sometimes a hard thing to do, but you just fucking do it. that's life.

so in short: i don't want you to leave, but at the same time, man the fuck up in the nicest possible way.

And dude, Dix, a lot of life is about getting shat upon. Maybe it's just time to get out of dodge if you are quite so, and I use this term without malice and with icing on top, dependant on your dad. If it affects you quite so much that any aspect of his life influences you this negatively, it's a good idea to move in with your friend. Temporarily, if necessary, but just get outta there awhile. I need to do the same myself.
