Do you think this is a good idea?

I have recently began watching Doctor Who, which is amazing. I also have been playing more Oddworld, and I was wondering if I could possibly merge the two together. Thats when I thought of a "Doctor Who Meets Oddworld" fanfic. Knowing that I haven't made a successful fanfic before, I thought that I would totally butcher it. Of course, after awhile I felt more confident that I can atleast make this into a shorter story.

What do you guys think?

If there's officially sancioned Doctor Who Meets Star Trek, then nothing is sacred any more. Go for. Throw in the Flintstones and Matrix for good measure.

Perhaps, but you have to bear in mind that the Buffyverse is semi-officially set within the Whoniverse.
