After many long, soppy drafts I've decided on a short-ish blog.

I need to take a break from this place. As of late I feel really bad most of the time and visiting this place is one of the highlights of my day. I don't want that. I don't want to come home after a shit day and think "I know, my internet friends will cheer me up." I want to not be having bad days to start with. I'm really out of touch with people that should be my close friends and the amount of time I'm spending on the computer is far from helping that. I need to really work on doing something, because my social dejection is driving me mad.

If any of you really want to contact me I'm on Steam 80% of the time I'm near a computer. Find me through the OWF group. I also have Facebook, but there are only a few of you I'd accept friend requests from.

I'm sorry I had to post this blog, but I didn't want to just disappear.

I'll probably come back in a month apologising for being so stupid.

After 3 great years it feels really odd saying this. Bye.

	I thought this was going to be one of those blogs where the title makes it sound like you're leaving OWF but really you're just going away for the weekend. Now I feel sad. You come across as very smart and articulate for your age and I wish you luck in getting your social life back in order.

Congratulations on making a decision I have considered and failed to execute on numerous occasions. I had the same reasons you did, but my life kind of sorted itself out, or maybe I did something right without noticing. Let me know how your life turns out, anyway. It's probably healthier than what I did, which was the good old Supress-'n'-Ignore strategy.

EDIT: It's just occurred to me that on everyone's personal blogs I always end up talking about myself. Oh dear.

Look, if you let a bit more of your eloquent, witty, mature and confident side out in front of real people, you may well get the same sort of positive response you'd get from us. We may all wear masks online, but that doesn't mean you can't wear it in public too.

	Social lives are overrated. Good luck, Phylum. I wish I knew you well enough to give you some sappy goodbye post, but seeing how that isn't the case... see you on the flip side. Or if you come back in a month or so, that's cool too.

it's good to take a break. your life is more important than this place, but i hope you find a happy medium between that and us, because i really enjoy your company here. i may sound selfish in saying this, but i hope you return. you're an intelligent, talented and very mature guy for your age with a good sense of humour to boot. believe me when i say you're a valued member of our community here and will be missed.

i'm rambling again. what i'm trying to say is that you're one of my friends here, one of my clan. you're a great laugh, and i hope things go brilliantly for you. good luck.

	Aw... the door is always open if you wanna pop back in and say hi But i hope you'll solve your life problems. I did manage to leave this place for 2 years until i came back. Sometimes a break is just what you need. I do hope that in the end, it's just a break ._.

Sorry to hear that you're leaving - Seems a bit weird to give up something you love, but I suppose that'll make you appreciate it a lot more when (or if) you return here.

Your presence will be missed, though - As others have said, you're a valuable member of this community. But all the same, I hope you've done what's best for yourself.
