My condolences I hope he's in better place now

He died in his sleep. I guess he got sick, and wouldn't go to the doctor because he didn't have health insurance. When someone checked on him yesterday morning, they found that he had passed.

He and I weren't particularly close. He was kind of a selfish bastard who used my generosity with not even a word of thanks many times until I finally cut him off completely, and just wouldn't return his calls anymore. Still, though. He was my dad.

No one else in the family is willing to pitch in for his funeral, so I get that privilege. Fun times.
