What are you afraid of?

Perhaps you're afraid you'll end up in a hell filled with organs and blood?

Or perhaps a deep ocean abyssal void, with no way to see what's 5 feet in front of you?


I'm afraid of these things. I'm also afraid of the fact that within a couple weeks, I'll be living in an entirely new home, nearly two hours away from the city. None of my friends are , so I can't vent about it to them.

I don't know why, though. I've been expecting to move over there since December year before last, and I've been wanting to move away for even longer. And the place I'm moving to is amazing. Two acres of land, huge house. Comes with a hot tub, a big screen TV, satellite package, and a month free of rent.

So why am I overcome with dread over this?

I just don't know. I feel scared and lonely and like I'm being pushed into something against my will.

I blame Sam Neil for scaring the shit out of me the other night with his inter-dimensional bullshit spaceship.

Why are you moving, if I may ask? Work? School? Just want to get out of the nest?

I sort of envy you in a way, I had planned to move out this year but decided not to to save some money(about that....), and plan on moving out next year. I fear I might just procrastinate it and wait another year, even though so far this one has been less than pleasant. At the same time I realize moving to a whole new place can be scary, best of luck to ya.

Also, I think it might be good you're moving out, new start, new mates, new places. You might enjoy yourself which as I can muster from your other blogs...will make a fantastic change.

Or crane flies. Or house spiders. Apparently when something has long legs, people don't care to stick around long enough to check which, so it might as well all have the same nickname.

The thing we call daddy longlegs in Australia, I think, are actually spiders. And people tolerate them because apparently they kill the rather venomous redback spider.
