tired x_x

Yea... so. the day before yesterday i pulled an allnighter in order to get myself tired on the right time, so I could fix my horrible sleep schedule. Well. It was a tiny bit better at least . Woke up at half past 3 today which.. believe it or not, is an improvement.

Anyway. My question is. Have you ever been so tired that you start dreaming before you even fall asleep?
It's weird when that happen. It's almost like being high, without all the wobbliness.
Id close my eyes and in the span of a few seconds, Id start seeing elaborate imagery. No doubt would I would asleep if i had waited any longer. But I started seeing myself in this air vent. I don't know for what purpose.
But then suddenly this asian girl with wide eyes and an eerily happy smile spawned behind me. I knew exactly where this was going, so I immediately 'woke' up.
I was like: Nooo brain, I wont let you go in to a nightmare. not if I have anything to say about it!

So.. yea...
Pointless blog. But I like talking about dreams. So meh

Yes. I was trying to finish (write) a report at the time, and feverish proof-reads found that within my paragraphs about krill fishing I had transcribed a number of hallucinations. I wrote several more while trying to delete them.

It was a hard night's work.

Happens to me all the time after an all-nighter. I'll be lying there, thinking of whatever, and they will begin to visualize in my head while my eyes are still open. Kinda creepy.

He's not English leave him be.

I love sleeping mostly coz I don't get enough of it coz of work, but on the plus side, I've never slept so soundly once I started labouring, which is good because I was becoming borderline insomniac.

Yep, I have that nearly every time I try and re-set my pattern. Just sitting here and suddenly fall half-asleep and have these weird lucid dreams - Normally I dream that I do what I'm currently doing, even though IRL, I'm asleep. Then I wake up and have to do it a second time.

Typically I just drift off to sleep no matter what I'm doing if I'm tired enough.

The only irregularity I've shown recently concerning sleeping was being awoken by my alarm at 8:00AM, getting up to shut it off, then unconsciously getting back to bed like that's how I'm supposed to react to the alarm, and sleeping up to 9:30AM precisely. I've had this twice this week, and it's a tad bit disconcerting.

Then again, no work, no uni, so I can afford it.

I've always wanted to get into the state of sleep depravity so I can have those types of dreams, although I don't think they are technically lucid dreams.

I don't know how to induce it though, but I'd love to do it.

It's not good for you to force sleep deprivation.

I think this is kinda related

I rememebr once I was having a dream where I was just talking to some friends, my alarm clock went off and I could hear it but I was still stuck in the dream and couldnt wake up, in the dream I was running around shouting MUM! TURN IT OFF!

Lol... I had the same thing. I had an alarm once that sounded like a chirping bird.

In the dream, it just manifested as real chirping birds and I remember thinking in my dream: Well there goes my alarm....

I didnt wake up and got late for school

I think I know what your talking about and I get that even when my body clock isn't screwed up. You're lying in bed thinking something nonsensical when suddenly you think why am I thinking about something so stupid.

I am constantly having to reset my body clock this way, as I have a terrible tendency to forego sleep some days.

I've been having trouble sleeping lately and tend to put my iPod in, and there's usually a good twenty minutes whre I'm still awake enough to understand the music but asleep enough to form weird dreams about it. Can never remember them though.
