Doom is a case of Seinfeld Is Unfunny (WARNING: TV Tropes). The very reason it can be said to suck is because it was groundbreaking at the time, and what it did right are not only common in the modern day, but vastly improved upon. Without the nostalgia of having experienced it when it was new, there's little going for these things.

It's hard to say Doom sucks, as it is fun. And there aren't that many popular games that use the same sort of gameplay. I like it myself.

I always found it unfunny, even now. Maybe it's that I didn't like the way he looked which actually mattered more than it should when I was a kid(same reason i started off disliking Beatles )

I'll comment on the more important aspect of your post then...

Little twats like that 'runescape nerd' as you actually described him...are nothing to worry about. He threatened to beat him up? And you even considered for a second whether you should be bothered? Don't, he plays Runescape for fuck sake. And don't worry about your mum jokes, you have two options.

1.) Explain to him that by dealing out an over-used 'your mum' joke, he has signalled to everyone that the argument/ conversation has gone well above his IQ and he can no longer sustain his part in the matter. Stun him with your amazing intelligence!

2.) Laugh. Seriously my mates and I always throw your mum jokes at each other. Hell if what I said to my mate was true his mother would probably be locked away for some dirty shit. The point is it's a joke. It's not real, get over it and laugh at him. No worries.

I said I wasn't worried, because I knew he wouldn't actually come.P lus, he tried to push me quite hard before but he only moved me I tiny bit, and even that was because I was talking to someone else and I didn't know he was going to push me suddenly.

I thought I mentioned that he wasn't trying to joke around with this your mum stuff. I told him to come back with something better instead and he just said another one. Proves his intelligence.

I'm not actually the only one getting annoyed with him, there's a few of my friends.

It was funny yesterday because we were doing maps in Geography, and me and my friend started acting like we were playing Runescape just to annoy him this time. I think the funniest part of it was when my friend said "YES! Level 59 Map Construction Skills!" I say that part because he shouted it pretty loud, and most others were laughing.
I think the BEST part of it was when he (the Rune-nerd) tryed to annoy this kid who's really good with phones. He said "Hey, your maps going to be about HTC isn't it?" and almost straight after I said "Hey, your map's going to be based around a Runescape map isn't it?" When I said that, literally everyone started laughing at him.

It may sound like bullying but, if he was that annoying to you, and there's stuff I haven't posted here, you most likely wanted to get your own back on him. Which is what we did.

It doesn't sound like bullying, it just sounds like typical KS3 school...bitch slap the nerd outta that kid and get on with yo' life foo'!
