Donald Trump

How in the hell has a clown like Trump become the most popular GOP candidate in the-- oh, right. Republicans. I forgot.

The guy might be a raving moron, but I still say that, at some point, he is or WAS pulling our collective legs. Trump's a businessman. A shitty one, but nevertheless, he makes business deals. Someone or something (maybe it's the corporate ties or the fucking tax cuts Obama's given the rich) tipped him off that being a Republican in America is incredibly profitable, and he jumped on it.

Problem is, I don't think he has any idea how to be a republican (and I don't think he has enough of a grasp on morality to believe in much of anything that isn't papery, green and has a president's face printed on it), so instead, he's just been regurgitating the party's talking points from the past two years.

I don't think the Republican enclave was informed of his candidacy, or very happy that he was basically making their talking points appear more ridiculous to people than they normally do, so they've pretty much stopped supporting him (and if one good thing came from this, it's that at least the Birthers are backing off). I don't think anyone on the right was ready for him to do so well in the polls, least of which Donald Trump.

I guess that says something about the intelligence level exhibited by voters on the right, but inviting himself into the right's political fold may have tossed a monkey wrench into their plans for 2012.

I dare to dream.

Bottom line is, I'm not sure if I want to pin him as an idiot yet or not. He may be the best thing to happen to the democrats since... I dunno, Bush Jr.

But then people will vote for Mr. Right-of-Center, Mr. Tax-Cuts-for-the-Rich, Mr. Compramises-With-Sharks, President Obama.

Got a load of voter's remorse, right here. Anyone want it?

At least he was better than McCain. Oh god, which is worse- four years of McCain on TV all the time, or Trump? I'm not trying to be superficial, but neither one is easy on the eyes. They could have a staring contest, except the first one to vomit in disgust loses.

But one thing's for certain- Trump's faking his way to the top. A truer Republican I've never met or seen. Godspeed, to you and your living hairpiece, you magnificent crook and liar.

You folks across the pond don't know how lucky you are not to have a bipartisan government. It's a fucking loony bin over here.

Trump is the most popular GOP candidate because there are no other candidates. Once other people stand up and they start kicking the shit out of each other, Trump will probably be torn to shreds.

Although I don't know heaps about American politics I have seen and read some stuff by Ron Paul and I rather like him. I think he would perhaps improve the republicans chance of success better than some prick in a toupee who tries to win votes from the government with blatant lies about their leader.
