Today two apparently good American Football teams will be duking it out. The emotions will be high, the sweat will cover the field, and fans will most likely beat the shit out of each other afterwards.


I'm just watching for the funny Doritos commercials.

It's not even football. Most of the time the ball is in people's hands. It's basically rugby with a longer name.

Exactly. Football in Europe has it's name because we actually use our feet to kick the ball. In American Football, you throw the ball. Doesn't make any sense really.

I really don't understand why anyone would 'watch the Superbowl for the commercials', as so many of my friends claim to be doing. You can see them all on Youtube ten minutes after the end of show and don't have to put up with the fit men grabbing each other homoerotically.
