Sweltering

It was fucking hot here yesterday. I believe the temperature climbed as high as 42^oc in the shade. It always gets this hot around this time of year and it's awful. All you do all day is sit around and suffer. You don't feel like eating anything and people get headaches and upset stomachs en masse.

There's no airconditioning in my house. We rely on a fan and 2 pathetic evaporative air conditioners to keep cool. One of these air coolers is in our main room and the other is in my room. Our main room is fucking huge and we all spent most of the day in there, so it got to about 32^oc in there by the end of the day. It was dreadful.

I barley slept last night because of the overnight minimum being a stupidly high 27^oc . It was unbearably hot despite there being an air cooler blowing on me.

Today it's going to be 42^oc again. Our house is going to get even hotter today, as it's 9:20am and inside it's already 28 and climbing fast.

I fucking hate Adelaide sometimes.
