I love the Gorillaz, and I love Jamie Hewlett, so it makes sense. I've been a fan of Jamie's ever since the old Tank Girl comics were on the shelves when I was a kid.
I finished up the shirt design for Ken Parker, and I think it turned out...so-so. I wanted to re-do it, but they like it a lot, so why bother?
That font won't be used on the shirt. I did it for reference. Basically the face will start at the neck/shoulders of the shirt instead of being centered in the middle. Hence it only being the lower half of the face.
Also, I painted something a little different than I usually do. It's really...Happy.
I guess that's it.
Oh! No, it's not. Shortly after fed ex'ing the design to the Ken Parker guys, I was approached by another band in WA to design a couple of
their shirts.
The name is 'Beneath all Kaos'. I'd like to do a literal interpretation of their name, but I don't really have any ideas.
