Art schmart.

I've officially been hired to design a couple of shirts for a death metal band from WA.

I'm also making them 200 stickers.

Fun.

I got another tattoo. That makes three in two months. I think I might have a problem.

I always wanted to design things for a band when I was younger. Then I decided to go to med school and didn't bother with art college as the idea of being an artist didn't appeal to me anymore.

Anyway, congratulations on this. I expect it would certainly be good fun designing for a band. What kind of ideas have you had about these T-shirts, may I ask, and who is this band?

I've already got one design all painted out, and the second is in the works. Despite being a Death Metal band, they like my brightly colored artwork, and they asked me to do what I normally would. I'll post pictures of the finished products when they're well, finished.

You can check out my art on my MySpace. The band, Ken Parker, has a myspace as well.

Wow, this is big... Congratulations I think your art certainly is up to the standards of a Metal band.

It's always nice when an artist gets jobs like these. A nice bonus to put on your resume.

I never knew you had tattoos Have any pics?

My first two tattoos were taken directly from The Dark Tower series.

My latest is just a joke. I realize it won't be funny forever, but pretty much everyone has at least one dumb tattoo. Besides, in six months time my arm will be so covered that it won't really matter anyway.

The Mark of The Eld:

The Crimson Eye/Omen:

[taken on the third day. Kind of scabby. It healed quite vibrant.]

Skeet Skeet:

[I know it's vulgar, but I'm a generally vulgar/crass person, so it works.]

Thanks for the kind words, all.
