I know this blog entry hasn't had any comments in a couple of days but I feel like posting my opinion and none of you can stop me.

Abe619, I know it's not a nice thing to be told (for I've been told it before) but I'm in no doubt that what you two have for each other is simply infatuation (google the definition now, I did).

Without ever really meeting her, how could you have had the chance to feel as you do when your with her? How could you have had even a single chance to do anything you can for her? Without ever having that chance, how could you possibly know that you would do anything for her?

I have become infatuated many times and mistaken it for love, as I fear you have, and I know from experience this is incredibly easy to do over the internet. IMVU and other avatar-based MMOs are probably the best places for this.

Also, Nemo posted about girl's pretending to be an alias and leading guys on like this for fun. I can back this, as three of my friends, including my girlfriend, used to do just this. One of them even converted a catholic teen to satanism with this "game". All of them have used IMVU for this purpose in the past.

I'm not saying what you have isn't love. In a sense, infatuation is love. And there's even a chance that you're not infatuated at all.

I'm not even asking you to be cautious, I simply don't care enough to give you advise. No offence.

I'm just stating my opinion in the hope that it will serve as a sensitive, though insulting warning that, so long as you don't break her heart first, she is highly likely to, eventually, break your heart.

Or one of you will loose interest.
