Genetically modified fish, E-coli and other stuff i could kill people with

Started a new job today, it's in the biochemistry and biology department at the uni where my dad works. (He's a plumber, not a prof. That would be spec fucking tacuilar)

Anyway, i was tending to these GM fish they keep in the biochemistry department and i also got to work alongside some researchers in the biology centre. Today was observation day, but tomorow one of the guys is going to let me do practicle work. We'rew growing E - coli. Alongside some other stuff, also identifying some unknown bacteria from mud pools, this is real fiddly, but i like it. It also involves excavating -85 degree freezers and heating the substances with an enzyme to access genetic material. Or something.

I'm fucking stoked about this, it's good stuff to put on a CV and Uni's love this kind of stuff. Also i can pester some PHD students if i find something in the A level curriculum too difficult.

Anyway, We'll talk some more after the Germ warfare.
