I have never stubbed a toe to the point where the nail has broken. Ouch.

Gymnastics. The first blister had formed from using the double bars, and the second formed a week later using the double bars again, but inside the still-healing first blister.

I don't think our boy scouts are affiliated or have been infiltrated by any religion. So if I were to, they'd probably look at me weird

Yeah, our boy scouts are pretty Christianised. Homosexual tolerance in scouts has been a flip-flopping issue for a long time now.

In the end, the best you can hope for is a grudging acceptance of gays into their midst. A stodgy victory for overcoming adversity to say the least. One of those "Its not about whether we wanna join, its about being allowed to" sort of things. It may say "Gays A-OK" on paper, but if I liked penis I knew I would be in for a summer of alienating hazing if I signed up.

I think they have specifically gay factions now, run by gay counselors. I'm not sure. I'm not really up-to-date on alternative youth groups.

i once jammed my finger between two gates, crushing the nail. nurses said i couldn't get a hole drilled in it to relieve the pressure either, because it was bleeding from underneath the nail, therefore the pressure was apparently already being relieved. eventually it fell off and left a mushy patch of goo on the end of my finger.
